Jericho Finale Tonight

Jericho, the little post-apocalyptic drama that could, winds up tonight, at least in theory. CBS has cancelled it a second time and this time I think that no amount of peanuts will get a reprieve.
The abbreviated second season of the show definitely improved its pace, and were it given a third season, I’d be happy to watch it. All you folks who inundated CBS with peanuts in support of it last year should be watching, too.
This may not be the end of it. Carol Barbee, Jericho’s show-runner, says that it’s possible that it might continue in some form - presumably on another network but there might be other possibilities these days as well, now that web-based programming and direct-to-DVD shows are picking up steam.
Given that Barbee has herself already gotten another gig, you have to wonder who’d be running the show.
