Cormac McCarthy’s post-apocalyptic novel “The Road” won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction. It was also chosen for Oprah Winfrey’s book club.

The story concerns travel through a devastated landscape by a father and son. It’s not clear as to what happened to the world.

The book’s been in my bookpile for too long now… it’s not that I’m not interested in it but that I’ve been more interested in the other books in the pile. I’ll get to it soon.
